Pros

None management is racist. They don’t care for employees

Cons

Nothing besides getting experience, under paid, lots of favoritism, and if management dislikes you, or you try to tell people their work rights they retaliate. Especially Juan Manzur the idiot manager.

Pros

DLC Labs is a stable workplace free of crunch and drama. Every task is given ample time to be completed, save for a few rush requests that come up occasionally. I have never had an unpleasant interaction with a fellow employee, everyone is respectful of each other and we all just want to see the team succeed. The company offers hybrid in-office/remote work for select positions, plenty of holiday and sick time off, great benefits, and consistent yearly raises so it pays to stay. Our owner is smart, attentive, and is easily reachable. He has a lot personally invested in the company so he always has the company's best interests at the forefront. DLC Labs has been steadily improving every year that I've been here, we did not falter during the pandemic, in fact we accelerated our growth, so I'm confident about the future of this company.

Cons

The office space itself is not the most comfortable place to work in. It isn't unhospitable by any means, but it is adjacent to our warehouse so it gets uncomfortably hot/cold and noisy at times. I also wish the bereavement rules were more forgiving, I lost a loved one, but wasn't granted bereavement time because they were not in my immediate family. It left me with a sour memory during an already difficult time.

Pros

DLC values individual opinions and fosters an inclusive environment where everyone's input is welcomed. The company offers excellent work-life balance, making it a great place to thrive personally and professionally. They actively support personal development and encourage employees to learn about the business as a whole beyond their daily tasks. As the company grows in size, they are working on building a more formal structure to provide clear pathways for career development and growth. Additionally, DLC provides an excellent health insurance plan with comprehensive coverage, including vision, at no cost to employees.

Cons

As a smaller company, employees often need to wear multiple hats, which can be both a positive and a challenge. While it offers opportunities to gain diverse experience, it can sometimes lead to workload imbalances. Additionally, the company can be slow in making decisions, which can be frustrating and result in last-minute efforts to meet deadlines.
