You end up carrying the costs of business travel for quite a while. - Management heavy organization, too many cooks, too many people who like to puff their chest out. - Micromanaging is the norm. - Don't expect lunch breaks, You either have to fight for them or just go AWOL and take one and ignore your phone. - Work phone is required to be on at all times, even when not working or oncall. - Management often say one thing and then expect another. Keep good meeting notes or record meetings. - The company will frequently cancel or reschedule jobs in order to complete jobs for other more preferred customers.
