Pros

Where do I begin with Dallas Executives...how about the part where everything they tell you at the time of the two interviews is a complete lie? I went through the entire process only to be completely disappointed on my first day because of how sketchy and ingenuine this company really is. They'll tell you all about the promotions. They'll tell you about the supposed "$35k+" positions and make it sound as if you will actually be doing marketing. I'll save you some time and tell you right here and now that this is a LIE. You won't be doing marketing. You won't be doing PR. And you sure won't be making a lot of money. What you're signing up for is 10.5 hour work days that consist of face to face sales alone.

Cons

I came into this position under the impression that there would be actual digital marketing campaigns to be worked on. It sounded great at first - a job that encouraged promotion and growth within the company and that paid really well. There was absolutely no mention of face to face sales during any part of the process. Imagine my surprise when on the very first day, I was forced out to engage in face to face sales, and soon after questioning the employees who had been there for 1 month+, learned that this is what they do on a daily basis. Nothing else. No one has an office, or even a mere desk to sit at, because surprise! Every single person besides Pegah is out and about roaming the streets of Dallas begging people to download the Hello Fresh app in hopes of making a sale. You will be driving out to literally random streets on your dime, because this company doesn't bother to at least compensate the gas that you are spending. You will have to pay for parking every single morning because guess what, they don't validate or provide parking passes either. The biggest discrepancy that I came across was with the compensation. I, (as well as the other freshly hired individuals upon discussion), were under the impression that the $35k promised was mostly base pay or something along those lines. NOPE. Base pay at Dallas Executives is $360/week. If you make more than that in commission, you keep your commission pay. If you make less than that in commission, you'll only make the base pay. It is NOT base pay + commission. I found this to be extremely sketchy because in my two interviews, I was explicitly told that it was base pay + commission, not one or the other. And the fact that they tried to hide this instead of being upfront and honest was the worst part. As far as my experience with the other employees that had been there for a while, all I can say is not good. I found that the person I was paired with for the day was very unsure about all the questions that I was asking - questions that a person who has been there for over a month should know the answers to right off the bat. Questions like, what are the benefits? were met with a hesitant pause followed by "I'm not actually sure". I asked, "Do you see yourself at this company for much longer?" and that was met with a "Maybe....to be honest, I don't know." Questions about compensation and the tactics that were being used were dismissed with a defensive air. The more I asked, the more it honestly seemed like everyone in that office was being played without even realizing it. And newsflash, the "law of averages" is just your way of justifying the miserable job you've signed yourself up for. The part that got me was that at the end of my time there, once I had determined that no, this was not what I was promised, and no, this was not worth my time, an employee had the nerve to say that I was just "butthurt because it was not what I expected" TO ANOTHER EMPLOYEE WHILE I WAS STANDING RIGHT BESIDE THEM. This lack of professionalism and utter respect was more than enough for me to confidently make the decision to leave and never look back. I urge you to look at the other companies that have been opened under these people - Brand Executives (in Austin) and Denver Executives were the only two that I could pinpoint, and the reviews for these are just as horrific. Please, do your research before accepting an offer here. Such minimal compensation for what seems like selling your soul to stand in a spot for 10.5 hours a day 5 days a week to bother people on the street is just not worth it.

Pros

I'd say my favorite part working here would be the team environment . The crew nights every Thursday where you can get to know everyone and share advice is a more calm, relaxed setting. Being that there is no seniority you're able to learn from the top managers in the company.

Cons

Not for individuals whom are not very sociable .

I'll try to sum up my cons and make this short. The other 1 star reviews were 100% correct. From the very beginning interviewees and new hires are completely mislead/lied to. This is not a salary job it's strictly commission, even after promotions. The "base" pay you are promised comes out to far under minimum wage. Instead of going to "events" employees stand outside all day waving people down trying to convince them to buy a product. Very uncomfortable. (but this company doesn't call it sales, they call it brand awareness) The vendor permits the company "says" they have were never produced. Police officers have been called to many of the sales sites. 40+ hours of work a week with no set breaks. If you want to eat you better have money to buy a hamburger on your way to the next sales location. You are required to drive your own vehicle and expenses are not covered by the company. No formal polices/paperwork were ever produced and basic employment questions were never clearly answered, or answered at all. Management is not upfront and communication was extremely poor. Like others have said, this organization is similar to a pyramid scheme and overall I did not feel like the work environment was professional or respectable.
