Pros
Dandy Drivers - they are everywhere (in theory) but nowhere (in practice). Except for moving at "Dandy Speed" which allows leaders to make careless decisions and provides a cop-out to not take responsibility for poor outcomes.
Cons
"This place is a rocket ship, we just raised $150M series E and are headed towards IPO. You don't want to miss out on this, it's going to be huge!"
This was the lie we were all sold.
Hundreds of new employees joined this year, excited to be a part of Dandy's journey, the growth, the product. Then suddenly...bonuses were not paid out, offers were rescinded and a layoff followed shortly after.
Employees left good, stable employment to join Dandy to only be met with a layoff weeks to months later and are now unemployed and looking for a new job. New hires expecting to start on Monday, received phone calls rescinding their offers on Friday. The cause? Careless leadership and poor business decisions.
They somehow arrived at the decision to go live in 26 additional countries in 2026. They did this with little to no data/research and a grave miscalculation on the market. Not to mention the understanding of what it would actually take to launch a new company/product in 26 new countries in just 12 months time. Obviously, this did not go according to plan.
If you're considering joining Dandy, question everything. This place isn't what it seems.
