Dataiku Response
2yThank you for sharing your feedback and perspective on your experience working at Dataiku so openly. We're sorry to hear that you don't believe that you have the level of autonomy required to feel engaged and rewarded by your work. We expect and work with our leaders to develop their teams so that they feel empowered to make the greatest impact, and to support this we have invested, and continue to invest significantly, in training our managers to be as impactful yet supportive as possible. However, we also know that managing people is not always easy, and so we encourage open and honest feedback between all Dataikers and their People Business Partners if they feel there is an opportunity for us to improve.
Regarding asking for comments on Glassdoor, it is true that we advised team members that one of the ways they can support our current hiring activity is to share their positive experiences, where relevant, on Glassdoor, as many candidates use the site to find information about potential employers. It was one of a number of ways mentioned that they could help. We have no current set practice of requesting, nor do we have an expectation, that people write positive reviews, just as people are free to share less positive experiences. We believe in openness and transparency, whatever that looks like.
If you have specific concerns, particularly about treatment you see as unfair, we would encourage you to have a confidential conversation with your People Business Partner in the hope that we can remedy the situation.
