      Pros

      It is fulfilling to work on a product that literally saves lives. A lot of opportunities within the organization to learn new technologies, solve challenging architectural problems, and to meet great people. Very proactive, transparent, and accommodating with a fully remote workforce during the pandemic.

      Cons

      The vision for our product ecosystem is evolving. Sometimes, planning more than 3 months ahead is difficult because the most urgent priorities have not been communicated until the quarter has already started. It would be nice if we had a small set of focused, measurable company goals. It does feel like we have too many "big bets", and there is a gap between team-level goals and overall company direction. Overall, this has been improving in my time here. I'm looking forward to the next couple of years of product development.
