Pros

Great coworkers and the day-to-day was relatively the same.

Cons

Around month 8, we had lost three people in my department and they had only hired one. We were short-staffed and in turn fell behind on meeting patient requests. It got overwhelming for me being one person on site and I let my managers know this but nothing was done as they didn't want to hire and train anyone new for the quarter. On top of that we were not allowed to take PTO/or time off in general unless it was an emergency.

Pros

Great place to work and amazing people to work with.

Cons

With a fast growing large company it can be hard find the right people you need when getting something done. Normal growing pains

Pros

Good pay Good teammates Remote-friendly with very few meetings.

Cons

Offshore engineers to Spain for less than 1/2 of the pay. No clear vision from leadership. Cycle through VP-level leaders every couple of months. Chaotic internal process: * HR doesn't know anything; the whole layoff and offshoring were handled poorly. What they said in the meeting does not match what they sent out in paper. * IT is managed poorly. There are a couple of times I wake up lost all my access. Lack of internal communication and documents. Some people still have access after they quit. * People have unnecessary access to FedRAMP prod. * They don't treat tenured employees well. The most experienced engineer in every team is usually a mid-level engineer.
