Pros
Good location and facilities. The company have positive initiatives for change and alot of the surface items look good line and onsite gym, free medical checkups, good sports and social, celebration of events and diversity, shares scheme, etc.
Cons
While the company try very hard on a surface level there are alot of major issues which need to be addressed on a management level. There is a lot of favoritism in the company and, in some cases bullying, which creates a very negative working environment. The only acceptable response is to smile and say nothing and you are punished if you try to stand up for yourself or address the issues. The salary in Davy is well below market average. Bonuses are allocated at your managers discretion meaning that two people doing the same job to the same standard can receive totally different amounts based only on favoritism. The bonuses also vary massively across the company and those who are not dealing directly with clients don't get much in comparison to those who do. There is a very flat structure and no opportunity for career development. Despite a recognition initiative being in place in the company, there is no acknowledgment or appreciation for hard work or a job well done. There are a lot of egos within Davy and people generally only look after themselves. You cannot rely on your manager or anyone else to have your back or to help you progress in your career or role.
