Cons
There are quite a few drawbacks. First, the training for OBMs is inadequate, they throw you into the deep end and say, "It's okay if you struggle," without realizing this leads to burnout. The pay isn't competitive compared to other SaaS/HCM companies, with 30% tied to variable compensation. Expect long hours, slow ticket responses, frustrated clients, and little to no career development. Leadership focuses more on client updates than employee well-being. The turnover rate is extremely high, and unless you're desperate to break into the industry, working at Deel simply isn't worth it. I am happy to never have to see a Slack channel again, Deel ruined Slack for me.
