Pros
There aren't many but pay was ok. Diversity was above average for a DoD organization.
Cons
Blatant security violations it's so bad its actually in the processes of performing the job. You'll do your leadership's job: They will require you to send them emails about emails that your CCed on and addressed to them. You will do other teams jobs: They will require you to send emails about emails another team is getting. There is 0 accountability for all parts of leadership here, most notably the federal bodies. They don't follow industry or DoD standards. Throughout my time I received conflicting, indecisive, and incoherent instructions. Took months to receive system access, weeks into actual work they demanded new hires to write them technical documents, SOPs, training documentation, ect... You'll have to work hours of overtime daily to even remotely get close to the demands of what they want. They are not objective focused; they don't care about products only if their team looks bad. Almost every meeting ended with don't make us (leadership) look bad or this looks bad. Tried to contact the IG and they won't even do their job and are immediately dismissive. There is a reason this organization went before congress, but nothing has changed. Place is complete ideocracy, simply put don't work here.
