Pros

The best reason to work at Deltek is the flexibility. You can work from home and they're great about letting you have time off when you need it.

Cons

The downside of that is that most of the development and QC is in Makati (12 hours difference) and you're expected to have meetings on their time, not US time. So there are a lot of night meetings. Another negative is that management has quarterly layoffs of anyone with product knowledge or anyone who disagrees with them. The result is that everyone is doing two at least two jobs and completely demoralized. If you're a QC manager or a project manager, stay away!!! Those two departments have extremely high turnover. Pretty much everyone in Engineering is just waiting for their turn to be laid off as soon as their knowledge is transferred to Makati.

Cons

Salary could be better. Training for some products is non existent and reliance on AI is very high.

Pros

Good culture and supportive coworkers One thing that stands out is that employees repeatedly talk about the people being collaborative and easy to work with. For CSM teams especially, there are comments about low internal drama and strong teamwork.

Cons

Morale dips after layoffs: Common issue in enterprise SaaS. Remaining employees sometimes inherit extra accounts or responsibilities after reductions. Internal communication can get corporate/vague. Employees sometimes mention leadership messaging during reorganizations feels polished but not fully transparent. Career growth uncertainty during restructures: When leadership changes or teams merge, promotions and advancement
