Pros

Nice place to start your career, If you are an international student - the company sponsors visa, Nice office, Free snacks and occasional free lunch. You will get good customer exposure. You can develop soft skills and leadership qualities. If you are on a Visa, there are little to no visa rejections. Financially stable company.

Cons

Poor work life balance - frequent asks to work overtime. About 60+ hours. Pay is less than market standards. Travel - trips are typically 2+weeks and 60-75 hrs working hours per week easily. Pacifying an angry customer is more of a priority than an employee's health. Even if its because of someone else's fault - eg sales sold something with unrealistic goals. A decent place to start your career as a fresher. But not an ideal place to stay longer. Your personal life is guaranteed to have negative impacts, poor work life balance. Your health, relationships will suffer. I am surprised there is a positive review from a fellow QA engineer. Its an ubiquitous fact that our QA engineers and developers have poor work life balance. To prospective QA candidates: Dematic did not have QA until 2021. Dematic acquired Reddwerks Corp and that became Dematic Austin office. Reddwerks had QA and Reddwerks QA team has now evolved as Dematic's QA team. There are a bunch of QA reviews in Reddwerks corporation page, be sure to check that out. With the acquisition the old reviews got buried in the old company's account.

Pros

Great pay, Good autonomy. Exciting technology. Lots of opportunity to improve and license to make changes, the Grand Rapids office has many great people who built Rapistan who are the best part of working there.

Cons

Ruled by the quarterly results, little transparency in outcomes, little care for individuals, many instances of people being fired or promoted unfairly, lots of politics, constantly trying to look better than they are, No real values to speak of. Pray you have a good manager, they are unlikely to be held accountable
