Pros

Beautiful club and course - second best in Arizona. Wonderful coworkers, and they teach you in whatever area you are lacking in. You gain lots of fine dining experience - and they provide a cafeteria style lunch and dinner for Employees.

Cons

Because of the many events throughout the year, there is a lot of moving parts. You move a lot of furniture in the peak of season. You should expect to be exhausted by the end of season - and ready for summer! However - you can't wait for summer to end so you can get back to making big bucks!

Pros

Free lunch everyday. Also, you get really close to the other employees who are mostly golfers to, so we would go play together on off days at other courses which was fun. The pay used to be decent, but I was told they cut the pay for only golf attendants staff this past year and didn't let the staff know about it!

Cons

You do all the work and get the least respect and pay, which is really taxing on the mental state. The schedule sucks too I didnt have a life that season, which is why most people quit including me. You have to wear really cheap clothes too, shoes wore down, pants & shirts were for old fat men. Other golf staff here gets lots of nice fancy outfits and shoes and they just sit inside all day. Kind of lame.

Employees do work longer hours in peak season. It is not a 9 - 5 Monday thru Friday job when you work in Hospitality. Managers try to accommodate employees' availability while still providing the staffing we need to take exceptional care of our members! Employees are provided uniforms in most front line positions and each department chooses uniforms based on availability of variable sizes to meet the requirements of a diverse workforce. Employer branding and consistency are taken into consideration when choosing uniforms for our employees. Providing uniforms for 100 plus employees is not an inexpensive line item. There have been no cuts in pay. Even during COVID we continued to pay our employees when the club was required to be shutdown. We do annual compensation surveys and make adjustments as needed to ensure we are competitive in pay for each position. Our current COO and CEO are very supportive and work diligently to provide the best compensation packages to our employees while remaining fiscally responsible to our members who pay our wages.
