Pros
-Very cool to work with an international group. Even the office has employees from different countries. It is common to hear different languages spoken throughout the day -I have had chances to travel internationally -Coworkers are really great, I have never had an issue getting along with anyone. Office is small and you get to know everybody -Company is small but part of a larger company. There are opportunities to grow, but perhaps not with the brand you currently work for -The Rock Hill (main US office location) area is a nice place to live. Big city and small town environments are very close by. I believe anyone can find a good fit for themselves -Company headquarters is in France. Working with an international team is great to me. Keep cultural awareness in mind due to different norms and mores though
Cons
-Management seems to micromanage without knowledge of what goes on during the day to day. Key individuals with the day to day, ground level perspective don't get consulted when making decisions -I haven't experienced it personally but there does seem to be politics at play, more in the higher levels though vs with the worker bees -There seems to be the idea that one size fits all from Nantes (Headquarters) with out realizing major differences in the US regarding the business environment -There is lots of information flow from the bottom up, but not from the top down. Employees do their jobs but there hasn't been what I consider a clear direction and purpose beyond sales goals mentioned -Company feels bureaucratic due to influence from the larger parent company
