Pros
Benefits, nothing really else to say
Cons
During my tenure here, I found the work environment to contain many inadequacies and stress triggers. The culture here is indubitably unconcerned about their staff's wellbeing. Administration holds themselves to such a high self-imposed regard that they do not interact with employees. Diversity and inclusion initiatives are only conducted sporadically for quota purposes. There are no real intentions to create a welcoming workplace. It seems like clandestine relationships take precedence over fairness and equality. Advocating for yourself is discouraged and met with retaliation. Think twice about working here as the environment is very toxic. It's all about who you know and who you can kiss up to to advance. The admin does not care about its patrons or community at all. The library system could be great if only all those in administration were gone. It's sad to see this library go down as so many employees are leaving in droves.
