Pros

An on time, if sometimes incorrect, paycheck. Insurance after a few years is decent. Any other pros went out the window during the last 4 purges of competent people. There are some nice people that work here.

Cons

Blame game is in full effect and constant nepotism along with rampant misleading of possible wages and progress over quite some time kills any sense that you can start at the bottom and make it anywhere. Constant abuse by management of time policies, pay and agreements, along with an overbearing sense of absolute malaise. Spiritual as well as moral. Ditronics has come from a small company that actually could make things work to a suffering pit of bureaucratic horror. Scapegoating is in full effect and if you are lucky enough to get a high paying position you will eventually find yourself eating serious crow or being blamed for stuff out of your area of control. Good intentions and empathy go no where, actual people that care in the various divisions have found themselves constantly sidelined, pushed out or terminated by randoms hired to 'fix' things and by 'fix' you need to understand they really just play nice for a few months then just terminate anyone that actually cares enough to point out how things are going. Get everything in writing. Signed. Regardless of what or why. Serious. Keep every email you send or receive for future consultation, you will want proof of what was said. If you make the mistake of signing onto the call center, prepare to get little to no training and if you get into the tech support side, well ... good luck. Most of the people who knew what to do were fired or quit, and the company is having to fill normal positions with senior staff from other divisions due to lack of trained staff or anyone left who actually cares. Pointing this out just gets you on the list of future termination. Actually, any attempt to fix things is met with stonewalling and congrats, you just made the list as well. Blame game again, in full effect. Competitors in this field pay way more, so sign with them. Chances are this company is in talks to get bought out anyways, owner was overheard talking about it in the past. The dress code is also pointless. The call center is a tech mess and no money was ever spent to make it look like a place you'd like to work. Unless things have changed, enjoy your cubicles from the 80's ... literally. No bonuses. No recognizing of good work. Management plays favorites, and that is well documented if you pay attention to emails. I could go on for hours. Company meetings tout record cash flow, nobody sees it on the ground floor, but any veteran there will tell you the tech and call division are dumping grounds for company woes. Company tried to fix morale issues by giving staff left over bags with pens and cups that cannot be washed in a dishwasher of all things, which I had no idea even existed. But hey, they will do another purge soon and this will start all over.
