One of the worst companies I have worked for. During the hiring process, the role is presented as having a hybrid work model. However, the reality is quite different. There is a strong, unspoken expectation to be in the office all five days a week, and if you choose to work remotely as per the stated policy, you may be made to feel guilty about it. At least, that was my experience with my manager. Work-life balance is practically non-existent. Employees are expected to work well beyond their official working hours, and while this expectation is rarely communicated openly, it is very much embedded in the culture. During onboarding, there is a significant emphasis on rapid career progression, with promises and narratives around becoming a VP within five years. In my experience, this feels more like a recruitment tactic than a realistic representation of career growth opportunities. The company heavily promotes its culture, employee engagement activities, and workplace environment on LinkedIn. However, the reality is that many employees are so overloaded with work that they rarely have the time or energy to participate in these initiatives. My manager was particularly disappointing. There was an expectation to be present in the office even when unwell, which demonstrated a lack of empathy and concern for employee wellbeing. The role itself often feels more like a high-pressure call center environment than the strategic, professional opportunity it is marketed as. For individuals just starting their careers, I would strongly recommend exploring other options before committing. And for those considering relocating to another country specifically for this job, I would advise thinking very carefully before making that decision.
