Pros
The paid staff is nice to get along with. They are very clear about tasks and deadlines, yet understand student availability and are adaptable to college schedules. I got along well with the other interns and was provided many opportunities to collaborate with them. Overall, working at Dim helped me create a daily rhythm that was followable.
Cons
As a videography intern, I was promised the chance to work at live shoots at local events but there were only a couple. To remedy this, I was assigned work on podcasts but this felt like busy work and not related enough towards my career goals. Furthermore, the company operated out of a local cafe. While we had a private workspace, it often felt cramped and the higher-level organization of the company was unclear.
