Entrepreneurial Investment Culture - Anonymous employee Disruptive Technology Advisers Employee Review

I originally joined Disruptive a few years back and departed on a good note for what I thought was a better career opportunity at a different company. Fast forward two years and Disruptive welcomed me back with open arms and the opportunity to rejoin the team right when the pandemic initially began. Since my initial tenure, the company has grown exponentially. We excelled and quickly adapted to the changing work environment by sustaining and capitalizing on opportunities for our investors during the pandemic. We have a very positive and engaging work environment. The culture is also very unique given the diverse background of our existing employee base. Another plus is that you can integrate yourself into departments within the firm by wearing multiple hats and discover and pursue your strengths and passions. For example, I am currently on the analyst team and am involved in many of the diligence processes here at Disruptive and involved in the business's investor relations and operations side. Lastly, the CEO is the hardest working person I know and is a mentor in so many ways. I am thankful to be a part of the team and their willingness to have me back during such a rocky economic time. I highly recommend this company to anybody thinking of working here as the opportunities and growth are astronomical.

The hours can be a lot at times, however if you put in the work and effort, you will be rewarded.

Room for personal and corporate growth. I started as an associate and made my way to a managerial position in a short period. Hard work is recognized and rewarded firm-wide at all levels. Rigorous and successful business with so much room for more growth. Staff is fairly small but operates and invests on an institutional level. We are innovators in investing and other business sectors. CEO is a forward thinker and visionary with a tremendous network and inspiring work ethic. I've learned a significant amount in my two-year tenure from him and the rest of the firm ranging from my colleagues and C-level execs. Great culture and energy. Well-paid with great benefits and an extreme plus that we have an opportunity to invest in exclusive deals and have access to an elite network. I see myself here for the long haul to continue my success with the company and personally develop further.

Hours can be long and some weekend work might be required depending on business activity (as expected at an investment firm)
