The pressure and micromanagement you mention are not aligned with our values. We have a Manager training program that onboards leaders with monthly assistance, specifically training them to be mindful of team workload. We also use monthly anonymous Peakon surveys to monitor wellbeing and work-life balance, taking action when results fall below expectations.
On hiring and promotions, we use a standardized quarterly review process where multiple neutral individuals assess decisions based on competency evaluations and established criteria. This ensures we're recognizing expertise and people skills appropriately.
