Pros

The only positives I can think of are the staff in store, the amount of holiday we can book. Regular customers who are understanding and sympathetic to us.

Cons

Rota changes constantly, there's no point making plans outside of work. Area manager (s) expect you to work all overtime and changes, no excuse is enough. Hours without any customers and you get bored out of your mind, system always crashes- especially the hand scanners which are essential. It's a shame, there is potential but with so many staff leaving, the bad morale and silly/no advertising- it will be their downfall. Hr get staff to do work above their pay grade, sending that the area manager should do. I think the worst part of doddle, I have seen several people experience this, is the empty promises of promotion and career development. There are no answers, promotions get pushed back and staff are left in limbo. It's cruel, I do wonder if they care about their staff and why they offer promotions then seem to change their mind without telling them. If you want to work up, this isn't the place to do it.

Pros

Not many. Working remote was nice, not having to be around the CEO of North America - Dan Nevin. I have worked with this guy at two different stops and have seen him be totally disrespectful treating people that report to him like total jerks. Don't waste your time with this guy.

Cons

So you are selling a returns portal that is far behind the race when it comes to certain functionality and capabilities. You will be able to sell to brands and retailers that don't know any better and haven't studied the competition. Those brands that have done their homework will quickly sniff out the ineffectiveness of the portal. Doddle does have a few "work arounds" but the large enterprise retailers don't want "work arounds". Secondly - partnering with the USPS is a total disaster. Brand and Retailers don't respect the USPS. Without this appreciation and respect, a successful partnership seems very difficult. Lastly - Our goals changed monthly. The CEO of NA had no idea what he was doing during this time. Working remotely I felt like I was working on an island selling this solution by myself.
