Pros

From the apprentices and juniors, all the way up to management, this is a company that really cares about its employees. A Managing Director who genuinely cares and will do what he can for all of his employees. Brilliant, knowledgeable and talented team Company events every month, all expenses paid. Opportunities to progress with training available internally and externally. Annual reviews. Regular catch ups and 1-2-1’s to help with your progression. PlayStation in the chill out living area downstairs. Having regular competitions between employees with beers and takeaways. The company feels like a family and everyone looks after one another.

Cons

None whatsoever, this is the best company I have ever worked for

Pros

NONE at all. This can not be called Company.

Cons

1 Man operation with fake ppl/ emails. 1 man running the show AMIN FART from IRAN - Do NOT TRUST this GUY The office is in the basement small (Server Room) no windows. Suffocating in summer. The worst manager/human being, in general, I've met in my life.

We're very sorry to hear about your experience during the short period you worked with us. Whilst this was early days we had no option to have an office which wasn't perhaps up to the best standards however as we've grown we've now managed to move and provide a much more improved working environment. We wish you all the best with the future.

Pros

I started Dot Ones as my first role, and in the 20 months in the company, developed a vast range of skills in many many different areas in IT. This is not, I REPEAT, not the kind of place you can sit around and expect things to happen. I learnt quickly that the place is run as a very large scale helpdesk, but with only a few engineers (often round 6-10) I would recommend the role to anyone if they wish to start and thrive in the IT industry, but for myself, found its a great foundation, but not the end goal.

Cons

Many processes can end up putting a lot of stress on engineers. For example, first line engineers have a requirement to answer calls on the first ring. If one engineer is on the phone, and another is busy/on lunch etc, it doesn't matter what you are doing, you need to get the call. This means a lot of wires are crossed and many cases will be left mid work,

Thank you for your lovely review. You came a very long way from being an apprentice and seeing you flourish and develop into a strong engineer was a delight. We've also noted your comments about the processes and as we've grown further we've managed to introduce a more relaxed yet structured approach towards them. Nonetheless all very valid and we wish you the best for the future. Rock on!
