Pros
There is a good amount of freedom in my role. I have been able to learn from the extremely intelligent people around me, as well as use that freedom to grow and delve into things that interest me, that benefit the company. There is a level of trust that you will get the job done, and a commitment to your growth to drive you forward. Not only are the people I work with smart, but they are also very welcoming. There is a conscious effort to include everyone in the company because there is a real feeling of camaraderie between the employees.
Cons
Because of the nature of advertising, the job has a bit of a roller coaster feeling to it when it comes to work load. The phrase "When it rains it pours." has never rang truer for me than at Drawbridge. Towards the end of the year, as agencies are ramping up large ad campaigns, the workload will follow suit.
