Pros

There are barely any pros but WFH can be seen as one. The team is also collaborative.

Cons

1. There is always insane pressure from mgmt to get things done and there’ll be no clarity on the urgency of a task. You’ve to follow the instructions like a robot. 2. The mgmt is not supportive, has no empathy and has insanely high expectations from the employees. 3. You are expected to do at least 3-4 tasks a day because it’s “urgent”; even if one task takes 4 hours (yep, you read that right) 4. The mgmt will NEVER check for your availability before scheduling midnight deployments. It’s an assumption that you’ll be available. In case you’re not available, you can expect anything between aggression or passive aggressiveness from your manager. 5. The mgmt does not care about employees’ growth, career, health anything at all. They are allowed to have expectations from you but you can’t expect anything in return from your manager. 6. You’re a RESOURCE. Nothing more nothing less. Work for 12 hours without uttering a word. 7. If there’s massive confusion about any task and something goes wrong then the end blame will be on you. (Asking for clarity will be looked down upon - they don’t expect you to be stupid. Excuse me?) 8. If everything works well then there’s dead silence from the mgmt. If you do something wrong? The entire mgmt will make it agenda to yell at you for it. 9. Most days are stressful with a fake sense of urgency created for even internal tasks and there’ll be at least 5 people who’ll be yelled at DAILY. IF you’re lucky enough then you’ll always be one of those 5. 10. There are no comp offs, you’ve to force a break for yourself on the mgmt. There’s no extra pay and everyone is poorly paid. 11. Managers are biased within the team. The company in general is biased towards developers. (Maybe because they work 15-16 hours a day) 12. As long as you’re alive, you can work. No excuses.

Pros

- Good exposure to learning & hands on knowledge about projects - Employees can opt for WFH. Currently new joiners have to WFO for 3-4 months. - Competitive Salary & Leaves (currently there is no leave tracker where the management can track leaves officially)

Cons

- Startup company so no health insurance/ mediclaim - Management doesn't recognise employees hard work & contribution. They just want their work should be done. - There is no fixed working hours, as on some days it can stretch for 10-12 hrs if there's a prod issue. - The management is very harsh sometimes so people leave the company and only senior management is the longest serving.
