Pros
Once I joined the support center at Drybar, I quickly felt like I joined a family. Everyone is so nice. Everyone greets you with a smile or a hello everyday even if you don’t know each other. People are so helpful and are quick to answer your questions. The company has a town hall every month plus other company sponsored events. Almost every week there is catered food in the kitchen and there are regular snacks and coffee available in the two huge kitchens. Every person’s birthday is celebrated like a big celebration. The co-founder John knows everyone’s name and greets almost everyone individually. My manager, the recruiting director, really trusts me and the rest of the team so you don’t feel like you’re being micromanaged. She’s always quick to answer your questions and always leads you to the right direction. I have biweekly department meetings and one on one meetings with my manager so I always feels like I’m kept in the loop and receiving feedback. While myself and the rest of my team are always on task and working hard, we always make time to chat. I never feel like I just come to work, do my job and just leave; it’s always filled with great conversations with the other employees.
Cons
I don’t have many cons working here. If you don’t like working in an open environment then this isn’t the place for you. Everyone has their own big divided desk, but we all work closely. I never feel distracted though.
