Pros

Good opportunity for entry level recruiting/gain experience, location and office is nice, great lunch spots close by

Cons

It is unfortunate how bad the management is otherwise this would be a decent entry level role. Toxic work environment where management allows personal beliefs and values to supersede the well being of its staff - poor handling of COVID. We were allowed to work remotely for three months and brought back into the office in June when the environment was still unsafe. A lack of trust in employees keeps management from letting staff work remotely even though the owners are hardly in the office themselves. The environment is SO toxic that when I started my new job I felt like I had PTSD - my current management is extremely positive/uplifting and during the first few months I was waiting to be criticized for something - which still hasn't come, because I am actually appreciated and valued. Management is very reactive and unprofessional. Favoritism, manipulation, and lack of privacy is something you will experience if you work here. Empty promises during the interview process when speaking about salary and commission. Very low pay on commissions for the time you spend recruiting these government roles. Only offer more money when employees put in their notice. Several hard workers throughout this company who receive no incentives or recognition. There is no growth opportunity yet management is surprised when employees leave to pursue other opportunities in order to advance their career. They had a good team while I was there and almost all are gone now. Most have gone on to work in more senior recruiting roles and the owner is pursuing legal action on them although they pose no legitimate threat to this business and work in entirely different industries. This demonstrates greed and narcissism in the worst way.

Pros

I worked at Dunhill for 4+ years and am grateful for the opportunities I was given. I developed a great rapport with the owner, Chris, learned a lot, and grew so much as a recruiter! The workload can fluctuate (like in any job) but the work life balance is always great. Commissions are uncapped and recruiters have the opportunity to develop their own business if desired. The company often orders in lunch for birthdays (or just because), meets for happy hour, and hosts get-togethers on the owner's boat. They have a good group of recruiters who are more friends than colleagues. Top performers for the year get a one-week, all expenses paid trip to a high-end resort. During my 4+ years, I earned the trip twice and went to Costa Rica and Mexico!

Cons

Work can fluctuate (busy/slow), which can take a toll on commissions. But overall things even out and the up swing will come! I promise!

Pros

Office location is convenient & the office setup (tech, desk, keyboard, headset, etc) is nice.

Cons

Owners are never onsite, so they micromanage a lot. They basically hover over your shoulder 24/7 and rarely relinquish any sort of independence in terms of business processes. So if you need that kind of supervision this is the place for you. They play favorites and unfavorites and once you are cast as "unfavorite" that will never change, no matter how much money you make them. One owner in particular is very emotionally manipulative and will threaten your job security over differences in opinions, personality, lifestyle choices, etc. This company has extremely high turn over (shocking I know). In the time that I was there we averaged 6 employees leaving per year( in an office of 10-12 total employees- so half the workforce would quit). They also have a super vague non-compete that they make you sign and then threaten to pursue legal action when you leave even though they operate in an extremely niche market. They pay their employees below market average for Wilmington, claiming they can make big money in commission but that rarely ever happens. They also give really low annual raises. They deny PTO request frequently and benefits suck ( High premiums and deductables). Notice how the "positive" reviews are from a while ago or follow a trend. hint. hint. Final note: only work here if you absolutely do not have a choice. would give it a negative star if i could.
