Pros
I started at DxO as a freelancer and progressively built a small but highly efficient team to drive Generative AI integration across multiple departments and products. The environment is genuinely great: people here are deeply passionate about photography and code, and the overall technical level is very high. Colleagues are demanding which creates a strong culture of quality and continuous improvement. There is real room for innovation. If you demonstrate your skills and commitment, you are trusted and given the means to succeed. Top management has been consistently supportive of initiatives, which allowed me to grow a lot : both technically and in terms of communication, team leadership, management, and product delivery. This is definitely a place to shine if you are motivated, skilled, and eager to take ownership.
Cons
The flip side of such an engaging and demanding environment is that it’s easy to get fully absorbed in the work. This can sometimes lead to long hours if you’re not careful about setting boundaries.
