Pros
Potential to be flexible Good place to get foot in the door for medical sales
Cons
Very cult like culture at Dynasplint. You deal with a lot of issues you shouldn’t have to as a sales consultant for little pay. It’s luck of the draw — if you are taking over for an excellent rep you will confine in that path and make commission. If you’re thrown into a bad territory, good luck. It’s all about economic factors of your territory. Management knows this, but they just don’t care quite frankly and will continue to throw out unrealistic ideas. The whole approach needs to be reformed it’s a turn off to docs and office staff as it is an unnecessary hassle they don’t get paid to deal with. They set you up for failure from the get go. Instead of properly training new sales employees it’s a constant hire and fire.... for a company that isn’t financially stable I never understood this method. Train your employees and treat them better I can guarantee you will see a 180 in your company. They take zero advice from anyone that isn’t management. As sales reps we have the vantage point of seeing all the flaws on a daily basis. They don’t care to change their ways. Overall, they really just need a reform as a company and to listen when reps come to them with issues they see on a daily basis. It’s not that they hire bad reps or a bad product, it’s bad management!!!!!
