Pros

I was happy to receive a job offer after a short interview, that seemed to focus on my anticipated work ethic and ability to jump over backwards to help support the company.

Cons

There are certain companies that perform well in regards to keeping morale elevated, being transparent with employees, and completing exercises that recognize good performance; this company does not. In my short time with emr group I experienced: 1.) my coworker simply not showing up on a work day with no explanation as to why (was it something bad the employee did or was it a cost savings measure?). 2.) my efforts to go above and beyond at several customers within the same business day go unrecognized 3.) management traveling from the area unannounced, leaving me to make up my own priorities 4.) management's attempts at making this seem like a company, yet not investing in the staff, back end business infrastructure, and company staples 5.) lack of expectations by management, therefore setting a tone for failure 6.) low wages, and essentially no benefits to be thankful of 7.) seemed to be an ongoing effort to change things rather than evaluate what's working There are many businesses that perform similar cookie-cutter managed services support in Arizona. Although emr group tends to market their services towards health care, their services are only as good as their staff, and the owner does not make it a habit of caring. I suggest searching for employment with any company that could easily do what emr group provides.

Pros

I've always felt that my input has had a direct positive effect on the business. The owner of the company listens and always makes me feel like I have a positive contribution. I've had the opportunity to take Microsoft, Citrix certification training and the company paid for it. Competitive salary and benefits to other similar companies. My last job was at a larger company in the IT department where I didn't make the same money and had less of an impact, so I am very happy here.

Cons

I don't really have any cons at this time. I'm happy with my job at emr group and I can see my career growing with the company.

Pros

None really exist in terms of pros. If I could I would give them a negative star!!

Cons

I'd like to share my experience to help potential job seekers make informed decisions about their career choices. It's important to note that my intention is to provide insight and caution, not to criticize or disparage any specific entity. In my term there, I encountered several challenges that, in my opinion, could emotionally drain individuals: Workplace Culture: The workplace I was a part of had a challenging culture that lacked positivity and support. The atmosphere often felt draining, impacting employee well-being. Ethical Concerns: There were moments where I observed practices that raised ethical concerns, which can be disheartening and emotionally taxing. Leadership: I believe that strong leadership is essential for any organization's success. In my experience, a more knowledgeable and professional leadership approach would have greatly benefited the workplace environment. Employee Recognition: Feeling undervalued can be emotionally draining. In my past workplace, employees often felt unappreciated, which can take a toll on one's emotional well-being. Business Practices: The organization's business decisions seemed to prioritize short-term gains over long-term ethics and quality. This misalignment can have a significant emotional impact on employees. I share these observations to caution individuals against considering a workplace that might potentially be emotionally draining. It's crucial to prioritize your well-being and find a work environment that aligns with your values and supports your emotional health.
