Pretty good opportunity how to get experience and make career. If you are hired as a receptionist, your way up is much more shorter.
On the other hand, you can learn a lot, if you want to! I am very thankfull for my opportunity!

Board of this company is full of chaos, unqualified people, rewarding is very poor, treating as well.
Unfortunately, if you want to learn management skills, this is not good company where to get the right knowledge. You’ll learn how to pretend work, how to prepare a looooot of research presentations with no impact and you’ll spend hours and hours at meetings with no point (but this is probably normal at every bigger company)
