Pros
A great chance to work with some great companies and learn various fields. Other consultants are often very helpful and understanding of situations and will help when possible. Understand the nature of the health and safety world ( both good and bad parts)
Cons
No training or preparations. Clients often treat employees like tools and there is little or no regard to them as people. No appreciation for people going above and beyond the call of duty, stating that it is part of the job requirements. Jobs are given to people who have connections and pecking order (if a project manager sells a project, he puts himself on the project)
