Pros
- Great brand - Great, innovative software - best in the industry by a mile. - Work with some incredible people - smart, passionate, supportive. - Interesting work and customers, worked with a wide range of industries. The work doesn't get boring. Every day is a new, exciting challenge. - The annual Ozri conference is fantastic!
Cons
- Culture & leadership needs overhaul - Culture is set by leadership, the two go hand in hand. Even though I worked with some great people day to day, the company overall didn't create a culture of feeling supported, inclusive, fun and, most importantly, a feeling of trust between employees and leadership. - Lack of trust from leadership created an intolerance to flexible working (a dated "if you're not at your desk, you're not working" attitude) - Poor performing employees were not actively managed, impacting the morale of higher performing employees - Overworked and not recognised or acknowledged for it - No encouragement of work/life balance - It is driven by numbers alone which again impacts culture and morale. An over tendency to focus on the negatives, rather than celebrating the wins. - Leadership communication lacked both transparency (retrospective comms on change vs taking employees on the journey) and empathy. Employee survey results were not shared and no visible change resulted from them. - Returning mothers and parents in general need more support, flexibility and understanding from leadership.
