Pros

Kitchen snacks stocked, happy hours

Cons

The CEO and Chief People Officer regularly use virtue signaling and buzzwords like family, women empowerment, and diversity. The CEO is extremely verbally abusive and unprofessional under the guise of empowering employees. There is high turnover in the c-suite level, management, and employees in this job. The CEO & COO are married and handpick favorites to promote. There is a clique in the office and if you’re not part of it, you’re ostracized—good luck to any promotions. The CEO & COO are egotistical and angry people who will switch faces as soon as they see you’re not being submissive to their demands. The projects are a mess and no one knows whats going on, its embarassing. There is no clear plan on how to operate the projects and the managers are just as confused as the rest of their team. The COO regularly berates employees and leads projects astray. The job offers say they are remote but Chief People Officer and the CEO fully expect you to commute into the office. There is no way to get promoted in the company if you’re not a hand-picked favorite of the CEO or COO’s. Some were told to take a title promotion without salary increase and with an increase in responsibilities. If you’d like to join a workplace with little room for career growth and have high stress levels everyday, this is the place for you.

Pros

The other interns I worked with were amazing. I learned and grew so much from them. My manager was extremely helpful throughout our project, and I learned so much from him. The company is on the smaller side, which made it easier to get to know other employees in the office.

Cons

The commute was difficult from where I live, so working hybrid would have been nice.
