Pros

Flexibility / hybrid work model

Cons

Another reviewer really said it best - so I’m going to quote them again in effort to amplify their points, because they are an exact representation of what it’s like to work for this company. If you care about career development, want to be taken seriously, included in meetings and projects, and want to be respected at work in general - this is NOT the place to be. Run - they don’t deserve hard working team members. You will be taken advantage of and ignored. “If you're not an Italian male, you can expect to hit the glass ceiling pretty quickly. But this absolutely exploded once the new leadership took over. I have seen countless unqualified people be promoted or hired for senior and executive roles over far more qualified and capable tenured employees. (Is it a coincidence that the vast vast majority of those promotions were given to Italian Men?). In addition to misogyny (and also racism), the new ownership (Investindustrial) has no care for quality (either of product, or quality of life for their employees) and definitely has the philosophy of "burn 'em and churn 'em". It is a complete boy's club and they will protect each other at all costs. Any work you do that is above and beyond will be unappreciated to your face, but then will be taken and used by corporate and then presented as if it was entirely their idea and effort.”

Pros

Decent community and work environment, huge team so you’ll definitely meet some interesting people. Good for gaining early experience in the restaurant industry

Cons

Volume is unpredictable and inconsistent, so you have to be prepared to either be in the weeds with minimal assistance from management or ready to idle for 3 hours with two walk-ins per hour and no reservations. And the tourists are exceptionally insufferable here
