Pros
Learned the core corporate processes. Work-from-home support was provided during the notice period, but only after extensive internal discussions, proper documentation, and constant follow-ups from the employee's end. It was not given smoothly or voluntarily by the management.
Cons
Lack of Professional Courtesy: The company and management lack basic professional etiquette. Despite an employee completing their proper notice period and completing all exit submissions diligently as per instructions, the management does not even show the basic courtesy of a proper farewell or a formal text of appreciation. Poor Workplace Culture: The culture on the floor is highly disappointing. Leadership/Managers have a very small-minded approach towards employees who are transitioning out of the organization. If you decide to move on for growth, the behavior changes completely and becomes cold. No Employee Appreciation: There is zero value for the hard work you put in. It feels like a third-class experience on your final days when you expect a smooth and positive exit.
