The design studio is a chronic poor performer and has trouble getting acceptable work to clients in a timely fashion. Management of the construction department has been more consistent than design studio, but is still ragged and unfocused.
Blaming subordinates for managerial ineptitude is a common theme in both the design and construction departments.
Management's unwarranted and exalted opinion of their own skill set precludes them benefiting from well-meaning advice. Constructive self-reflection does not seem to be present there.
