Pros

Welcome to the "gig economy", where you can work in your own time, but you're barely paid enough you cover your rent. Not only this but the team are so badly organized and the briefing is so confusing that you'll be asked to rewrite your articles because they forgot to provide you with the correct information. I have 15 years' experience and I have never been taken for such a ride.

Cons

If that's the pros, well here's the cons... On top of that, they'll charge you 4% of your meagre earnings to pay you (ever see the episode of The Deuce where the mafia cashes the construction workers cheques for a fee - well, it's the same here, it's probably illegal but you agreed to it in your contract). And then you have to wait to the 15th to be able to ask to be paid, and after that they'll take at least a month to pay you, so you could potentially have to wait two months for payment.

Pros

Project managers are prompt and professional. Their online interface where projects are applied to, accepted, and turned in is very easy to use. Never received any rush projects.

Cons

Pay lags behind the industry norm (at least for my language pair).

Pros

- Instructions clear for copywriting projects - Platform clear and easy to use - Low rating - Project manager who hire me was a fair employee but surounded by incompetent people who wishes to keep all the projects for their friends

Cons

- First of all, after creating my profile, someone in the French team has amended my profile by adding something weird which is unprofessionnal and lack of respect - You feel that they allocate projects to the copywriters based on favoritism and not on merit - Proofreaders exagerate their reviews on your work to make you feel that you are unwelcome and discourage you, even if you follow strictly the procedure by rechecking your work 2/3 times to make sure it fit their requirements; - You feel that the French team is a small group of friends/ relatives who keep the work for themselves. - The rates are ridiculously low and discourage you to go to the extra miles - They don't allocate projects based on merit but on favoritism, the best projects with the best rates are always taken even if you apply 1 minute after receiving the invitation and passing the test ! Please not i am a copywriter since more than 5 years and i know all the tricks of the job !
