Pros

Four day workweek, kind and dedicated lower-level staff

Cons

Do you like being micromanaged? How about being talked down to on a daily basis? Enjoy executives talking about you behind your back? What about constantly wondering if you will be the next to be let go because you dared to disagree with anything, no matter how small? If you answered yes to any of the above, this is the place for you! Anyone in a higher-up position who actually cared about people has been forced out. What is left is a dictatorship that will lie to you at every turn, micromanage every little detail, and continually tell you how bad you are at your job. They put on a good front about diversity and inclusion, but the committee is literally just a few white people pretending to care. The egos in this place are next-level, and no matter how good of a job you do, someone will take credit for your work and leave you in the dust. People join for the mission, but even that can't stop the high turnover when people eventually see the light. Stay away.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m happy you enjoyed the 4-day week and that your experience with some of our staff was very positive. Sometimes an organization is not a good fit for everyone, and I’m sorry you feel the way you do. At ECP, our staff does their best to maintain the great organizational culture we have worked so hard to build. However, we recognize there’s always room for improvement and will continue to do so. For example, in the last two years, we instituted mandatory training in several areas to improve managerial skills, including micro vs. hands-on management training. We launched the ARDI (Anti-racism, Discrimination, and Inclusion) committee to foster diversity and inclusion within the organization and in the material we present to our diverse audiences worldwide. This committee has been instrumental in providing mandatory online training for all staff in many areas, such as Anti-racism, Unconscious Bias, Inclusion and Covering, Privilege, Skills for Inclusive Conversations, Women's History, Disability Awareness, Autism Awareness, Black History Month, National Hispanic Heritage Month, Neurodiversity, LBGTQ Pride Month, and Mental Health and Wellness, among others. As far as a given credit to whom credit is due, I wholeheartedly agree. If someone took credit for something you did at any point, I’m sorry, and if it had been brought to my attention, I would have corrected it. Everyone should be recognized for their contributions.

Pros

There are no positives to speak of.

Cons

I don't have much to add to the 1 and 2 star reviews that have already been left. I assure you the 5 star reviews are the result of coercion. The Board must hold the organization's officers accountable, and they should be investigated and removed. I also hope potential donors read these reviews and reach out to former contractors and employees before donating and enabling this wildly inept "leadership" team.
