Pros

Co-Workers were great! Someone else compared it to combat and so the employees get really close. This is exactly how it was when I worked there 20 years ago briefly.

Cons

Everything else. 1. Was told it was a mandatory 45+ hrs week. I was hourly. Nope you didn't get overtime 2. They seem "cool" one of the owners Was tall and constantly walked around in Bermuda shorts and a button-up running his hands through his hair which was shoulder length. He was trying WAY TOO HARD To act like a laid back SURFER when really he behaved as if he was ruling over SERFS The reviews sound so familiar that I was positive the same people had to own it because of that sheer arrogance and disregard for employees. When I was there it was sort of a family thing one of the guys I can't remember if it was a brother or a cousin, name Greg was supernoise but hate didn't fit the image of the head owner and wore professional clothes to the office and didn't look like the other guy so he was relegated to a tiny little office along the outer wall. I knew it was time for me to go When the owner was encouraging me to hold cus to repayments so they would be over theMark to get the discount for paying early. He also encouraged me To always take the discount for paying early from our vendors but I was only to cut the checks on the date that applied I wasn't to mail them out until the 30 day mark. He said they're never gonna bother us about the discount it's not worth their time. I came in for a bookkeeping/management position and somehow he throws me Into this assignment that required me to handle a T1 no at the time I had no clue what a T1 was, And certainly wasn't experienced enough with that type of thing to take these big meetings from all the companies that were providing that I mentioned this because it fully backs up all of the other reviews, that was never supposed to be a part of my job the person who was handling it quit right after I started. I just realized something I gave them my resignation on this very day Thanksgiving 2001. My 1st day on the job was September the 11th, here I was Working a stones throw away from the airport on my firstoday when the twin towers came down and we realized what was happening our whole area (bc of airport proximity)of course was put on lock down. Everyone was shook, I was terrified, I didn't know anyone I was fairly young and it felt like the world would never be the same. The owner did nothing to console us or to change the pace of the day. I remember since it was my 1st day I didn't want to be huddled around the TV in the break room like everyone else I had caught a glimpse of the 1st tower And thought it was an accident like everyone else. I just remember the owner having no emotion no concern for all of his people . We all felt like we had to sneak peaks at what was going on 21 yrs ago... somethings never change Yea, RUN ,don't walk
