I previously worked at Eevelle and unfortunately, my experience was far from positive. The company exhibited significant issues with micromanagement, which created an unnecessarily restrictive work environment. Additionally, it was common for one individual to be responsible for multiple jobs, often four or more, leading to inefficiencies and burnout.
The owner (Skip Mckee) and COO (Lyndon Pohl) displayed a troubling disregard for employee well-being and professional growth. Their treatment of staff was consistently poor, and there seemed to be a lack of genuine concern for operational challenges. Their expertise appeared to be limited primarily to marketing rather than a comprehensive understanding of the broader operational needs of the company.
Overall, the work culture was hindered by these management practices, and the company's approach to employee relations and operational management was lacking. The company removes employee reviews to prevent potential issues from being visible to others. Approval is required for nearly every action, including basic activities such as taking a bathroom break. Additionally, after submitting a request for approval, Lyndon, the COO, often follows up with numerous questions regarding the rationale behind the request.
