- Lazy shift leaders and management. I cant tell you how many times we've run out of either utensils or food containers during the work week because our gm couldn't properly keep the store stocked.And whenever we did run out of something (about every week) our gm pressured us into lying about it when the customer asked.For instance if we ran out of a certain beverage we would have to say that the machine was malfunctioning, otherwise he would give us a ear full. The shift leaders would constantly slack off or go out to the dining area and sit around on their phones while there were still orders to be taken. And odds are if you were closing they would ask you to stay later to pick up their slack.
