Pros

- Working at Elevano, you literally feel the meaning of "the sky's the limit" - Plenty of incredible things that I experienced and enjoyed during the time I spent at Elevano and here are just few that I could think of: 1) ability to learn from the management team, who are hands-on and experienced recruiters 2) work autonomously; no excessive and disturbing Micromanagement! As long as you demonstrate commitment to your work and follow internal controls, you will earn the management's trust which will provide you with a tremendous opportunity to have complete control over your client portfolio, weekly business objective, etc. - it does feel like you are managing your own company within the company 3) Friendly and supportive colleagues - you will notice right away the warmth and positive influence of others at work 4) Latest technology and some of the best industry related tools are provided to you to ensure absolute optimization of your day to day work

Cons

No major issues. I would encourage management to continue investing in the business and their people as they have been doing already

Pros

I really enjoyed the training I received. The owners are really passionate about doing things the right way. They take an extra moment with you to make sure you word emails correctly, which is very helpful when you are just starting out.

Cons

I am not sure I really wanted to be an agency recruiter. I ended up leaving to take a job as an internal recruiter.

Pros

Lots of snacks and casual dress.

Cons

Honestly the most stressful, depressing job experience. You start your training process with a set of online videos/quizzes that are supposed to help you learn and understand the recruitment process. After that, you basically sit on LinkedIn for 40 hours a week hassling various companies and employees for your service that they do not want or need. I constantly found myself stress checking my email at home to see responses. Because of this, I do not think there is any sort of work/life balance, though I think it comes with the recruiter career as a whole. It is a very small company, only four employees plus the two owners who are brothers, who you sit directly next to. There is no flexibility with your schedule. I did not realize how badly the stress of the job was affecting me until after I left. It just was not worth it for how much you got paid. It is a very difficult job with very little benefits. Overall, if you are thinking about an entry level recruiting position, go elsewhere. I think a bigger, more established company is definitely the way to go. You will have better training and a better understanding of the industry as a whole.
