Pros
While I can't say there are a lot of good things, there are some very nice people that work at Elevation. (However, it seems that a lot of them are leaving as well, so its harder and harder to find a friend) But a lot of people that left keep in touch and socialize, so there still is a little ex-Elevation family! There is free lunch on Wednesdays, but its getting a little old. But it's FREE. :)
Cons
This is all based on my ACTUAL experience, without exaggeration or fluff. The work is not challenging at all. It's pumping out the same things over and over without any strategy or challenge to step up to the plate. The projects I work on do not use any of my talent and I don't feel like I am learning or gaining any additional experience. We have lost a lot of the super fun people. SO many people have left to pursue better opportunities and are happier and feel more fulfilled by their new jobs. I have had prospective applicants reach out to me and I have given my very honest opinion about the company, the culture and the work -- and I that I would not recommend ANYONE join the team. The management team (whoever that is, really) does not feel like they are really leading our company. I am VERY concerned about the health of the company -- no new business and clients are leaving. Eventually the well will run dry if something drastic doesn't happen. And I don't get that sense of urgency or concern from leadership. Also, I mostly feel like I am just an expense to the company. The little celebrations and gifts are nice, but in the day-to-day, we are really all treated like an expense. Agency life is tough and we all live by the billable hour, but at Elevation you are DEFINED by your timesheet. I have never felt so tied to a desk in my life and it is really, really depressing. If you are considering working at Elevation, please read these reviews. You can tell which ones are planted -- and which are legitimate. Anything that has more than 3 stars and says things like "pockets of excellence" is trying to combat what has been posted so far. Elevation has not turned any corners and if there are positive ripples, I guess they haven't made it to my cube yet. Don't get me wrong, every workplace has their issues and agency work is not for everyone. But Elevation is not worth it. Trust me. There are MUCH better and successful and fulfilling agencies in the Valley. I keep thinking it just HAS to get better, but I'm getting tired of waiting and my time is likely to come.
