Pros

The health benefits are decent.

Cons

It is not an environment or culture that fosters the best out of its employees. If you think you will be able to network and grow within this organization, I'm here to tell you that is not the case, especially if you're on the main campus. Everybody's only concern is with their clique; the communication between departments is horrible. Everyone only cares about what's going on in their unit, and they don't operate as a unified, cohesive healthcare organization. It's pulling teeth to obtain any information about the continuing education that may be provided through the organization to employees. Other hospitals will offer classes on certifications freely because they want their employees to be available when positions need to be filled within the organization, rather than looking elsewhere, but not here. If you don't know somebody, you're going to be stuck in the same position for 20 or 30 years. The pay is also not very good. And they keep saying they want to be #1.

Pros

Pay and benefits are good

Cons

Leadership needs significant improvement. Promotions often appear to be based more on personal relationships than on experience, qualifications, or selecting the best candidate for the position. Leadership also fails to adequately address bullying and toxic workplace behavior, allowing it to continue unchecked. As a result, many locations feel disorganized and chaotic due to inconsistent leadership, poor communication, and a lack of accountability.
