      Pros

      Encamp has a lot of smart and lovely people, I miss the folks I worked with directly.

      Cons

      They are more of a consulting company than a software company. They need to commit to a direction one way or another. Also, the investors getting on the layoff bandwagon in the last year or so made it very difficult to do anything correctly. I'm glad I'm not there any more, but it was nice while it lasted.

      Lots of turnover from uppermanagement can be hard to communicate with different viewpoints when working on projects

      Pros

      Great people to work with. I think we do really help companies do a better job with environmental regs. There's enough ambition to keep it interesting.

      Cons

      It's a startup so can feel resource constrained at times. Some parts can be a grind.
