      Pros

      Salary and benefits were fine.Enjoyed co-workers Made many good friends.

      Cons

      Chronically under staffed in all areas, especially nursing.This is a company driven by one thing and one thing only...profit. After 15 years I was let go because my salary had gotten too high...no thank you, no goodbye. Just a bunch of good ol boys taking the governments Medicare payments.

      There is fulfillment from helping patients regain independence after injury or illness. Encompass Health promotes diversity and inclusion. There is a good work life balance. Wide range of benefits. An overall positive work environment!

      Cons

      Encompass could recognize more holidays for employees as well compensate salaries to match cost-of-living for the area better.
