Pros
The other nurses with you on the floor. The poor patients that barely get looked at due to nurses having 10 - 13 patients per shift.
Cons
Not enough room or time. This place looks great when you are first hired. You think you are going to make a difference in someone's life, but you soon find out that the patient comes last in that senario. The money, how much Healthsouth gets is number 1 on the list. I have been a nurse for a very long time and have never worked for such a money Grubbing company like this. Management is another issue all together. All policies should count for everyone. Not here, management picks and chooses who to let get by with certain things and who to really come down on certain others. Very inconsistent. For example, some people can call off for 3 days and nothing is said. Then someone else can call off for 1 day, and have to make that day up. Even if a Dr's excuse is given to management. I hope corporate will come here and bust this healthsouth, there are so many things wrong with this branch!
