Pros

Good benefits such as Woolworths discounts. Opportunities for advancement into other areas of Woolworths.

Cons

Long hours for little reward. Management appeared to favour the hierarchy and command control structure over listening to team members. Human Resources weren't useful and appeared more interested in protecting management. Conflicts of interest appeared to be ignored. While team members were often promoted into more senior roles, there re didn't appear to be any upskilling to ensure they could competently complete their role.

- Multi-cloud exposure - e-Comm exposure - Multi-state teams - Talented in house tech knowledge for a retail business

Cons

- Senior Leadership completely out of touch and tone deaf management approach (Late 2025-*) - Focus is bottom line $ and shareholder, at the detriment of employee retention - SL have all but abolished the attractive flexibility that WAS a serious draw card for professionals out of Sydney - Bureaucracy/Red tape at all time highs - Growth opportunities limited - resistance at every stage
