The benefits being offered are just the bare minimum that employers may need to provide to meet provincial or federal employment requirements.
For example - 2 weeks paid time off is provided to employees, while employers in the market are moving to over 3 weeks or unlimited vacation days model.
Remote vs Hybrid work - The HR team mentions that company is moving from a full remote to a hybrid work environment soon, but there is no clear indication of this in the company. I would think preference of most would be remote.
Internet or home office benefits are not available for employees even in the current remote work environment post Covid.
