Pros

This location suffers from significant issues in management and discrimination, leaving no positive aspects to highlight.

Cons

A fair and open work environment is key to encouraging productivity, morale, and growth. But when leaders ignore their duties and act unethically, they create a toxic workplace where people are less motivated to work hard or be creative. One big problem in the company is that managers and supervisors aren't doing their jobs properly. Instead of setting a good example, they pass their work onto lower position employees and take credit for what their teams do. This unfair behavior not only demotivates staff but also breaks trust within the company. On top of that, these managers lie by taking credit for their team's work when reporting to the headquarters company, creating a culture where dishonesty is rewarded instead of real effort. The President of the Houston branch clearly plays favorites, giving special treatment to people he likes or has personal connections with while ignoring others. Employees have noticed that he even refuses to greet those he dislikes, which comes off as unprofessional and disrespectful. One clear example of favoritism is when he made his son-in-law the superintendent at the Mississippi yard, skipping over other candidates who may have been more qualified. He also tends to promote people who talk a lot but do very little actual work, leaving most of the responsibilities to their teams. This unfair and ineffective leadership is hurting workplace morale and productivity. Instead of actively helping and guiding his team, the President stays locked away in his air-conditioned office and lets controllers and CPAs do his main tasks. His lack of involvement in important decisions and daily operations shows a big gap in leadership. Rather than motivating and supporting his employees, he keeps a workplace full of favoritism and poor efficiency.

Pros

The pay is damn good for what I do. The job is fairly easy and the people are cool to work with. I came from office white collar type jobs to this which is very very blue collar and it so refreshing to work with real people instead of corporate drones for the most part.

Cons

Things seem very disorganized and the departments I work in management seems to not like each other and are silo’ed. Processes make no sense and seem to be there just to make the job more difficult. Communication between teams is non existent or very stand-offish. Changes are made the directly impact my team and we never know of changes being made.
